This book is by Takaoka Mizumi and many BL fans might know her for the "Kawaii Hito series" and the "Itsuka jyanai series". This is one her latest series that is going to be dramatized in January.

On a rainy day and driven by reckless impulsivity, the 17-year old Yugi Kazutaka ran away from his family. His father was the owner of a chain restaurant and his new stepmother was a horrible woman who had affiliations with yakuza and dared to extend her claws shamlessly to the young and beautiful Kazutaka. Lonely and hungry, Kazutaka was walking aimlessly in the rain with just some bread and a bottle of mineral water. A man with a flower-pattern umbrella asked him what he was doing, dancing in the rain (and thanks to Sassa sensei, this picture of Kazutaka is STUNNING!). The man then invited Kazutaka to his house and despite sensing this would be a dangerous move, Kazutaka followed the man to a gigantic mansion. This definitely wouldn’t be a place a normal salaryman could afford and Kazutaka had many questions about the sullen and quiet man who referred to himself as Kudou. That night, Kazutaka had a shower and fell asleep. When he woke up, he found Kudou had thrown away his bread, his clothes (with money inside), and his water and there was no sign of him in the house. He opened the fridge and aside from beer, it was blatantly EMPTY! He was mad with hunger but all he could do was to huddle on the sofa and waited for Kudou to come back. When Kudou came back and learned what happened, he wondered why Kazutaka did not just grab his money and go out to get food. However, Kazutaka said he would not take other people’s money without permission (great kid). For the next ten days, Kazutaka just lived idly in the house watching TV and waiting for Kudou to come home. He always wondered what "use" he had for Kudou but he soon found out :P (what else could such a CUTE and IRROPOI boy be of use to a handsome man in a BL novel I guess you can all imagine :P ). That lifestyle lasted for half a year and all along, Kazutaka pondered about the "woman" who gave Kudou the "flower-pattern umbrella", and the "woman" who would occupy Kudou in the nights when he came home late. At the same time, he was also enduring all the "nocturnal activities" without ONCE complaining it was painful. Half a year later, accidentally, he saw Kudou hitting another man in the car park and from eavesdropping their conversation, he soon found out Kudou was a yakuza (he searched the internet for news clippings about Kudou, smart boy) – the kind of people he hated the most because of his stepmother. The fear and hatred towards Yukaza caused Kazutaka to run away from Kudou. During his second escape, he met Miyahara at the station who was troubled because he did not have money to go home. Already gave up on his own life, Kazutaka gave Miyahara the 10,000 yen he got from Kudou before he escaped. Miyahara said he would definitely return the money but Kazutaka thought it was a joke as they did not even know each other. Yet, a few days later, Miyahara really came to return the money and also offered Kazutaka a place to say. Turned out he was the owner of a very elite and secret club – BLUE MOON (abbreviated as BM throughout the novel) where only very special people could apply for membership. You cannot be a member if you drive a car to the club (you must have a driver). Seven years later, Kazutaka became the manager of BM and that’s also the place where he would meet the VIP of his destiny. The reunion seven years later was the last thing Kazutaka wanted, mainly because by then, he already had a job, an apartment, and he even picked up a young boy by the name Satoshi. His life was divided between looking after Satoshi (who ran away from home owing to terrible child abuse) and Yurika, a woman who flirted with men secretly at BM and landed eyes on him. However, seven years could not erase his memories of Kudou and they kept haunting him time and again. When they actually met each other, Kudou did not seem to change. He was still the yakuza, he was still a sullen and calm man, and he still looked at Kazutaka with the same expressions as he did seven years ago. Then Miyahara told Kazutaka that owing to recent disturbances from some new yakuza, he asked his acquaintance Kudou to protect BM. Of course Kazutaka was against the decision but he was cornered because as a manager, he could not fight off the yakuza. The new yakuza did not like Kazutaka or the way BM treated them. So, they abducted Kazutaka and Satoshi and tried to rape Kazutaka using Satoshi as hostage. Of course, Kudou came to save the day thanks to Satoshi’s quick reaction. After that, Kudou brought Kazutaka to a yakuza confrontation where he forced the new yakuza to dispel the person who orchestrated the kidnapping and caused all the nuiasances at BM. When Shimada, the troublemaker expelled, he lost his calm and tried to attack Kudou and Kazutaka. Kudou protected Kazutaka as he promised earlier and got wounded. Kazutaka was very upset and wanted to stay by Kudou’ side to tender his wounds but when Kudou asked how he would weigh him and Satoshi, Kazutaka hesitated. He was no longer clear of his own emotions so he conducted an experiment. The first time when he ran away from Kudou, the latter did not go after him however, Kudou said if he ran again, even if it meant exhausting his yakuza’s power, he would find Kazutaka. So, Kazutaka ran away a second time but Kudou found him within 36 hours. Since Kazutaka planned to vanish for a week, he spent the rest of the time being confined in bed by Kudou :roll: By this time, the answer floated in Kazutaka’s mind and he finally understood his own emotions but that was not the end, it was only the beginning, especially when Satoshi planned to study law and destroy yakuza so he could get back his Kazutaka princess from Kudou :D

 

 

 

Gakuen Heaven 3 ~ Happy Paradise ~ Part II

This is the second part of my LONG review on the latest drama CD from the mega hit boy’s love game Gakuen Heave. If you have not played the game or know nothing about the Gakuen Heaven world, you might not understand the relationships between the characters. In that case, I recommend you to first read my review of the game HERE.

 

Iwai x Keita

Iwai and Keita went shopping on the island and Iwai bought a very beautiful picture. However, some pushed him and he dropped his picture. The frame broke but thanks to that, Iwai and Keita found a treasure map!! Keita then proposed to follow the hints on the map and unearth the treasure. When they arrived at the place, the tide was low and they saw a path linking the shore to a small island. They went to the island and started treasure hunting. They then saw the white bird which would bring happiness. Keita wanted to see more of the birds but by the time they came back to the entrance, the tide was already high and so they could not get back to the shore. They could only stay on the island. When they were exploring, they fell down into a deeper hidden chamber. There, they found the great piece of artwork on the wall of the cave done by the same person who drew the picture Iwai bought. Touched by the beauty of the large piece of art on the wall (and probably blessed also by the white birds), Iwai and Keita FOUND HAPPINESS in the mysterious cave with Keita RIDING ON Iwai :D . Who would have guessed the seeminly weak Iwai would be in a position that would require A LOT OF ENERGY 8O but love conquers all :!: When their moment of happiness was over, Keita found Iwai’s back bleeding because Iwai was at the bottom :mrgreen: Keita apologized but Iwai thanked Keita again for suggesting the wonderful treasure hunt or he would not be able to see the painting on the wall. When they emerged from the cave, the tide was low so they returned to the shore. Keita wanted to tell people about the island but Iwai said it would be better for them to leave the birds of happiness as well as the painting alone. In that way, they would not be disturbed by tourists.

Nakajima x Keita

Keita wanted to go out and create some lovely memories with Nakajima because this would be their first as well as last school field trip. Nakajima did not want to leave the hotel because there was political unrest on the island. Apparently, someone was plotting an assassination because they opposed to the princess marrying an American, someone who was not from the island. However, Nakajima somehow yielded to Keita’s wish and went out with him. Sadly though, when Nakajima was asking for directions, Keita was kidnapped by the assassin as hostage! :cry: Then, Nakajima came to rescue Keita, who was scared to death. Like James *ond, Nakajima fought with the assassin (despite the latter had gun) and beat the crap out of him. He then led Keita to a place where they could make some beautiful memories. He brought him to an old church with a beautiful piece of stained glass. Then, IN FRONT OF G*D, they #$&*~. To make sure it would be a night Keita NEVER FORGET, Nakajima found PEARLS and INSERTED them into Keita’s #$*. Ai-san was quick to realize that it would be quite difficult if not impossible to insert that into the rear part… easier with the mouth. True, for normal human being this really would not be possible but Nakajima is not just any person. He’s a the BOY with the BL "GUN" :P so for him, it might be possible. Also by now, Keita has got enough training from Nakajima-sama. Anywy, these people have been specially trained so don’t try these tricks at home :evil:

Saiyonji & Keita (Reversible)

This is the only reversible couple in the Gakuen Heaven world. Again, the two scenarios ar parallel universe, so it’s not like Saiyonji suddenly flips Keita over and #$&*. The scenario started with Keita and Saiyonji waiting for taxi to go to the ancient sites on the island. However, there was no taxi because special arrangements were made for the princess’ wedding the next day. Suddenly a car came CRASHING into them and Keita saved Saiyonji. He then went to check out if the driver was okay. To his surprise, he found a Saiyonji look alike, only she is A REAL WOMAN!! She said she must hurry up and go to the ancient site but it was dangerous for her to drive. Saiyonji said he could drive and would take her there but she state her reasons. She seemed to be in a difficult position so Keita asked Saiyonji to help her because he did not want to see a Saiyonji lookalike in trouble. Saiyonji was pissed because Keita would care for anyone as long as they looked like him but Keita said he was prettier and Saiyonji was left speechless. After more struggle, the woman finally said her name was Charlotte and she was the princess of the island. She had to get to the ancient sites to save her lover. Saiyonji then asked if she got that :? with her and she replied affirmatively. Then Saiyonji agreed to help her but Keita was puzzled as to what that was all about. Then Saiyonji started driving in a very wild manner, that’s because he only drove ONCE before, in his own house :mrgreen: Somehow, they managed to arrive at the site ALIVE and the princess also saved her lover Rick. They then toured the ancient grounds and went back to the hotel. In the uke ending, Saiyonji said he was feeling good because he got to see the ancient sites and he said he would accompany Keita to anyplace he would like to go the next day but they already promised to attend the princess’ wedding. Then Saiyonji said he would listen to Keita’s selfish request because he’s in such a good mood and asked Keita what he wanted. Seemed Keita wanted AN ORAL from Saiyonji. On top of that, he D*** onto Saiyonji’s face. On top of that, in a CUTE CUTE voice, he ROCKED and EJE**LATED FOUR TO FIVE TIMES IN ONE NIGHT!!! Exactly WHERE did Keita get all the energy 8O :? In the seme ending, Saiyonji just said Rick was getting himself into the snake’s nest by marrying Charlotte because many people on the island would oppose to this wedding and there were also "things" occuring in his family. However, Keita said suffering with the person you love is also a form of happiness. Then Saiyonji began a rather strong seme ordering Keita to lick his fingers or to spread his legs merrily for him. In the end, he did not tell Keita what was happening in the "Saiyonji family".

Niwa x Keita

It started out with the two having s*x in the wild. Suddenly a thief was passing by and Niwa helped catch the thief. He then returned the belonging to the princess’ servant guard Chaz. Chaz was searching for the princess because she went missing and he lacked confident in his own job because he could not do it well. Since Niwa and Keita could not leave the poor Chaz alone, they helped him search for the princess. The only clue was that she looked very similar to Saiyonji. So, they went asking around if anyone saw a strange Saiyonji. The best one was when he asked Shichijou. Niwa wondered if he found something strange with Saiyonji, like his breasts suddenly became BIGGER. Shichijou said that he could not continue the conversation and left :D . Then they met Nakajima and asked if Nakajima knew anything about a female version of Saiyonji. Nakajima did not seem to keen on telling them so the INNOCENT Chaz said he would do anything if Nakajima would tell them. Keita raised his eyebrows and said he would do that instead of Chaz but Nakajima would rather have Niwa! The moment I’ve been waiting for finally came… a NAKAJIMA x NIWA!!!!!!! Even if it wasn’t REAL, the split second of hearing that already satisfied me :D . Of course, he was referring to Niwa working on the documents from the student council he brought onto the trip. I also laughed my guts out when I tried to imagine the look on Shichijou’s face hearing his precious Saiyonji suddenly had BREASTS! They then continued to search and meet others like Naruse and Kazuki. In the end, after walking for a very long time, they bumped into Umino who said he saw two Saiyonji. Turned out Saiyonji was with the princess at the time. When Niwa saw the princess, he was shocked and so he GRABBED THE PRINCESS’ BREASTS to see if she were really a woman. He got beaten up :P . Chaz was happy that his ability (skill in drawing) contributed to the happy resolution. After happing Chaz, Niwa and Keita continued where they left off somewhere IN THE WILD :D

Shinomiya x Keita

Shinomiya and Keita were staying in a house on one of the islands. That day it was the princess’ wedding so the whole country was busy celebrating. However, Keita and Shinomiya stayed with an old man and cooked the fish he got. They had a happy meal and the old man explained how much the Suzubishi group helped the country and provided them with strong and wonderful motors. That night, when Keita and Shinomiya were about to #$&*, the old man suddenly collapsed and his heart stopped beating! Keita paniced but Shinomiya was fast to use first aid on the old man and he asked Keita to bring in the boat so he could bring the old man to the nearest medical center as fast as possible. It was dark but somehow they managed to bring the man ashore. Before that, their boat bumped into a stone or something and the old man’s heart started beating again. When they arrived on the main island, they met Saiyonji and Shichijou and the two helped bring the old man to the hospital. When it was all over, Keita praised Shinomiya for his first aid skills but Shinomiya said he learned them because of his brother’s poor health before the operation. Then, after some more really sweet words, the two &*#$ in the house.

Kazuki x Keita

My FAVORITE couple, this time the story is pretty "normal", compared to the previous exciting adventures :roll: . Kazuki brought Keita to the SHOOTING GROUNDS. Kazuki learned shooting as a form of self protection while he was studying in America. Keita was a newbie to shooting but he seemed to perform quite well. From da*hing out 4-5 times one night to being quite natural to shooting… maybe Keita is the STRONGEST of all :evil: After shooting, they went shopping for gifts for their family. Keita then bought a present for Kazuki – the moonstone. Kazuki also bought a present for Keita – the moonstone. So they exchanged the lovers’ stones :!: and then had a nice long chat under the starry moonlit sky. Kazuki had his unrest because he was not certain whether he did the right thing to let Keita know the truth (that he was the school’s principal and was his "oniichan"). :cry: He felt by telling Keita the truth, he pressured Keita to accept him and Keita might have chosen other pathways had did he not know the truth but Keita assured Kazuki that even if he were not told the truth, he would remember someday and he was happy the way things were. Then, Keita soaked in Kazuki’s SWEET WORDS still UNDER the beautiful starry sky. The last track – Keita’s letter was his report of his experience in the Southern Islands to his family but he never got to finish it before he was summoned by his wonderful friends from BL Academy, yaoi fangirl’s heaven!

Tsugumi is the second son of the Minami Company (here, the name Minami has the meaning that everyone can see "minna mi") that’s famous for manufacturing suits. When Tsugumi was still a child, his father was quite successful with his business and even made a commercial featuring himself to spread the popularity of the suits sold under Minami brand. However, as days pass by the business did not go smoothly. Thanks to the senmu Hinata, the company survived by cutting prices and targeting the massive class of ordinary salaryman. Tsugumi is not very thrilled about the way the company is running, especially because he has been studying about suits abroad. He did not want to inherit the company either but he did not have a choice because his father was suddenly taken ill and his brother declared he would NEVER wear a suit since he hated suits more than Tsugumi did. Tsugumi has tastes and respect for suits and did not want suits to be viewed as nothing more than a salaryman’s uniform. His own desires and beliefs toward suits lead him to clash with Mayuzumi Shin, the head of the project planning department. Like Hinata senmu, Mayuzumi also thinks the best direction for the company is to target the middle and lower class. As a result, he proposes a new line of suits that will be priced just under 10,000 yen and can go into the home washing machine (to save money on dry cleaning). On top of that, he plans to ask Tsugumi to appear on the commercial because a two-generation commercial will be novel and arouses attention. Of course Tsugumi is furious about the idea but there is little he can do. After all in the company, he is just the president with good looks. Worse is the fact that Mayuzumi is not just his subordinate but also his lover. They met a while ago at a bar. Mayuzumi found Tsugumi drinking alone and so flirted with him. The two ended up at a hotel suite but a while later, Tsugumi found the one-night stand Mayuzumi would be working under him! Their relationship was "boss and subordinate" in the office but "partners in bed" at night :roll: Still, sleeping together doesn’t mean the hearts are linked together, especially when in the case of the cold and cunning Mayuzumi :?: and there are unrests both at work and in Tsugumi’s love life. The only way out for Tsugumi is to study Mayuzumi’s plan as hard as he can. For 10 days, he buries himself in books and research data and he finally realizes that Mayuzumi is right. He approves of the plan but during that time, the whole company is thrilled to see a hardworking and motivated Tsugumi. Everyone welcomes the change except for Mayuzumi, who hardly sees his lover save to touch him over the last ten days. However, he is glad when Tsugumi confesses his love for Mayuzumi, even if he thinks Mayuzumi just threats him as a playmate in bed. Also at this time, there’s another guy Asagiri whom Tsugumi is slightly jealous of because he never sees Mayuzumi smile but the latter is smiling to Asagiri :idea: . In the meantime, Tsugumi’s brother Kazumi already felt something fishy going on between his brother and Mayuzumi. So, on the day of the CM, he went to stop them and volunteered to do the CM instead. The project was successful and Minami became very successful. The relationship between Mayuzumi and Tsugumi also sails smoothly … or so it seems :P (make sure you read the omake 3 years later. It’s quite funny).

Yabai Kimochi (Desire)

Foreword by Nanya: This manga was originally titled Yabai Kimochi (in Japanese) but the English licensed version is Desire. I don’t think the title is very appropriate because the word "desire" is neutral and does not convey the "dangerous feeling" as in the Japanese title :idea: (end of foreword). Anyway, you can purchase the English version HERE and the original version HERE．

"Love without sex… or sex without love" Toru is a generally drawn back and shy student who harbors a secret crush on his best friend, Ryoji. While Toru hides his feelings and tries to treat Ryoji as simply a ‘friend’, Ryoji makes a comment one day that will change Toru’s life. Where it seems Toru is attracted to his friend, it might also be the same for Ryoji who can’t seem to keep Toru out of his head when he’s making love to women. Poor Toru’s world gets thrown for a whirl when Ryoji suggests sleeping together to hopefully cure his ‘confused’ lust. How long can Toru keep his true feelings at bay, and will he really let Ryoji have his way?
When the first volume starts, Ryoji’s first words are "I wonder why when I look at you I get turned on." This startles Toru enough that he drops the rice he’s eating for lunch and kind of stares for a minute. He manages to rise a bit of courage to ask why, while his brain is fussing over whether Ryoji might know that he has a crush on him or not. We see a few flash back of how things were before Toru fell for his friend and you also learn why. "I became attracted to his positive attitude" Toru feigns indifference, asking how he should know why Ryoji feels that way and Ryoji passes the situation off as nothing, which appears to be out of character for him.

You quickly meet Tadashi, another close friend of Ryoji and Toru’s who appears while they are eating lunch and begins bickering with Ryoji over school work and teachers. He also errantly introduces Kashiwazaki, a fellow art student of Toru’s. Ryoji is soon cornered by a woman who wants to date him and Tadashi pulls Toru away to ask him if Ryoji has mentioned his ‘problem’ yet. He give’s Toru a word of warning about not taking it serious as he didn’t want to see his friend hurt. When Ryoji returns he mentions that he agreed to date the woman, in which Toru ducks out politely and runs off to the art room. Obviously upset about the news he debates what it would be like to have breasts, making Kashiwazaki, who happens to be in the room, worry about him.They talk about an assignment and go home.

A new day starts (I’m unsure if it’s the day after or some time after, they don’t specify) and everyone is complaining about Ryoji’s new girlfriend and her intimidating nature. Ryoji once again mentions to Toru that he becomes aroused by him, asking if he had thought about it after he’d mentioned it to Toru the first time. Toru gets really flustered and shouts that he had been totally over it, trying very hard not to let his secret out about loving the other male. Toru and Tadashi talk again, and Tadashi explains to Toru that it’s a pretty natural thing for one male to think about another in such a situation his interpretation of it all is "Amoung guys who belong to sports clubs, I hear it happens quite often…giving hand jobs to each other…" Toru ends up being called out of art class later by Ryoji who proposes that they sleep with each other to "…see if I can satisfy myself with you…"

Of course after some hysterics, Toru agrees as long as Ryoji promises to stop if he says so. After school we lead into our first sex scene, yum. The action starts out in the shower, Ryoji helping Toru release some ‘energy’ before their real session. I find Toru rather cute in this shower scene because he gets rather flustered and angry when it doesn’t take very long for Ryoji to get him off. They move on to the bed where Ryoji gets in his first kiss, it’s an adorable scene because the smile on Ryoji’s face reminds me of some sort of overly satisfied animal, maybe a bear? Now, although Toru shouts several times for Ryoki to stop he never does, pretty much breaking the deal they made. Ryoji only makes the situation worse when he comments that "It was different from what I thought" Toru’s brain clicks that Ryoji must be disappointed and goes home.

The next day, Ryoji acts rather as if nothing happened, Toru seeming to have a lot of trouble forgetting. He settles on trying to make things ‘normal’ again, though he tends to get rather tense around Ryoji. Ryoji asks Toru if he wants to stop by his house to pick up a cd, seeming to be rather insistent on getting Toru to come over. When they make it to the house Ryoji ends up pinning Toru to the bed and Toru becomes a little hysterical as Ryoji advances on him, crying out about how Ryoji had been disappointed. Ryoji destroys that lie with his next line "It was better than I thought, it was beyond my expectations" Toru questions why he spent so much time crying over something his mind had made up and tries once more to get away from Ryoji. Toru and Ryoji end up having sex again, confusing poor Toru even more than he already was.

Toru contemplates over why he can’t seem to stop loveing Ryoji despite the pain he’s caused him. Kashiwazaki enters the art room where Toru has ended up, questioning his classmates lack of appetite. They once more talk about the class project that’s due before being interrupted by Ryoji, who appears a little jealous of the two. Toru’s inner monologue runs on about he is just the ‘in toy’ for Ryoji and eventually he’ll be abandoned. By this point Tadashi has noticed the change in Toru, easily guessing what the problem could be. It’s thrown out in the open that Tadashi is very aware of Toru’s feelings for Ryoji and how it’s wrong that Ryoji is simply using Toru for physical pleasure. Toru once more runs off, worried that he might end up losing two friends because of what he’s allowed to happen.

Toru meets up with Kashiwazaki who asks about his problems. After assuring Toru he could at least be a good listener, Toru tells him about having sex with his friend and how he has feelings for the man but it isn’t reciprocated. Kashiwazaki suggests Toru date him as a sort of ruse to keep Ryoji from using him. Toru is persuaded into agreeing and pretends to see Kashiwazaki, managing to break things off with Ryoji who was rather reluctant. Tadashi shows up at Ryoji’s door, asking Ryoji how he could be so horrible as to treat his friend that way. Ryoji tells him that he won’t sleep with Toru anymore becomes Toru seems to be very much in love, Ryoji of course believing it’s with Kashiwazaki. Tadashi becomes confused when he hears this from Ryoji, sure he had been right when he pegged Ryoji as Toru’s love interest.

It ends up being found out by Toru that Kashiwazaki is not just pretending when Kashiwazaki kisses him during a flase date. Toru refuses to continue with the charade because he doesn’t want Kashiwazaki to feel the way he does, but while he’s riding the train home he decides to get off at Ryoji’s stop. They happen to run into each other and once thing lead to another, where they end up having sex again. They seem to admit afterward, that things are no good and the next scene we see is Toru working on his painting for class. What he paints, Kashiwazaki explains, is his thoughts, his ‘flame’ "I am a deviant" Toru now asks Ryoji to come see his painting, which seems to have won an award. He explains to Ryoji that it is him in which Ryoji asks about why the painting is called Desire. Toru tells him that it is how he feels for him, and finally confesses to his long-lived crush; his way of getting over it all so that he can have closure and move on. Ryouji admits that at the beginning everything had been out of curiosity but after a while Toru had become something special to him. "You know I only get aroused by you" In which Toru replies "I thought I was the only devious one".

A girl of little moral values, my main goal in life is to do things… and do them well. :3 With a vast range of interests in otakudom I enjoy drawing, cosplay, and reading manga. While I love anime, I find that manga is more appealing and in depth. The original title of this manga was Netsujou but it is available in English under the title "Passion" and distributed by Digital Manga Publishing since October 2004. English version 2 volumes, japanese version 3 volumes. You can get the English version HERE.

Meet Hikaru, a second year highschool student who is in love with Shima, a teacher at his school. Shima seems to not be affected in the least by his students admiration and carnal desires, he even coaxes the boy into studying harder to spend time with him. When Shima decides to ‘play date’ with Hikaru, which one of them will take it a little too far? They only have till Graduation to play out this little charade, can Hikaru make Shima love him in time?
At the beginning of the first volume, we see Shima lying on the floor and Hikaru has taken him. The poor boy doesn’t get a break, from the beginning Shima rather tells him off, stating "Maybe you love me, but remember I don’t" Poor Hikaru, what’s a boy in love to do? Stalk his interest of course! Though Hikaru doesn’t go as far as to sniff his love’s laundry or steal his garbage, Hikaru finds himself constantly watching Mr. Shima and even biking by his apartment everyday to see him. With Shima telling him to repent for his crimes Hikaru is unsure what to do to prove to his teacher that he loves truly loves him.

While Hikaru tries very hard to forget Mr. Shima he ends up finding himself at his teacher’s door all the same where he runs into Mr. Amamiya, a red hot flame from Shima’s past and also a fellow teacher at his school! With all the rumors wandering around school about these two teacher’s possibly doing the double-sided tango Hikaru finds it in his best interest to determine if the gossip is fact or fiction. To his relief the tales turn out to be untrue, or at least only one-sided and Hikaru seems to have a bit of a chance again. After Amamiya leaves we get our second sex scene, a wonderful and consensual piece that had me begging for more.

During this same scene we see the duo’s bet come into the open and Shima agrees to ‘play date’ Hikaru until the end of graduation. Well now, isn’t Hikaru the happiest little puppy in the world now? The feeling doesn’t last long though as many things arise to split this delectable pair up, Amamiya the biggest worry. Hikaru better watch out! Amamiya had Shima once and now he wants him again, what a tantalizing love triangle! While Amamiya is pulling the moves on Shima in the middle of hallways, Hikaru is studying his heart out as a promise to Shima to not let their hidden relationship get in the way of his schooling.

One of my favorite scenes in the first volume is the cellphone scene. Hikaru is being the good little puppy he is and studying, when Shima comes out of nowhere and kidnaps Hikaru’s phone after commending his student for his hard work. While Hikaru argues over no use of phones in the library, Shima taps in his number and leaves. What a surprise to Hikaru when he picks his phone up and calls Shima without even thinking. Their conversation is simple but cute one of the best line’s being Hikaru’s "So you’re saying I can call you everyday, or several times a day?" to which Shima simply chuckles.

Though there are no more sex scenes within the first volume, there is a lot of flashbacks about the relationship between Amamiya and Shima as well as one particularly steamy kiss and grope between the two. The last bits of the first volume are a lot of Shima and Hikaru fluff. At the end of this volume I find Shima as a little confused and unsure, as if the relationship between himself and Hikaru is something he has been longing for but is unable to understand it fully so he treats Hikaru a little cruelly for this. There are two particular scenes that give me this impression.

The first is after Amamiya has advanced on Shima in a drunken stupor Shima calls Hikaru to visit him, saying he only has thirty minutes to spare. When Hikaru arrives he is covered in sweat and panting as he’d biked as fast as he could. Shima shows a look of surprise before smiling and leaning against the other, mentioning with a bit of dismay that although Hikaru had been racing to get there, he smelt of soap.　　The second scene Shima is watching Hikaru from a window as the younger male talks to his friends. Shima notices a woman being awfully familiar and he calls Hikaru to ask what he’s doing. Giving Hikaru the impression something is wrong, he asks Shima where he’s at and the teacher replies ‘on the roof’. Well, as there were many, Hikaru climbed to the top of everyone and when he reached the last building he happened to find Shima who was playing a game. Having been very worried Hikaru raises his voice a bit and confronts Shima on not being specific before holding and kissing him. Shima makes a comment about Hikaru smelling and the boy apologizes… to which Shima corrects that he didn’t mind, that it was his smell. The chapter ends with the two kissing on the roof. After which you get one last tidbit, a scene with the odd love triangle, before the volume closes.
